April is currently in her first year as principal of St Columba's College, Essendon, having been Principal of Our Lady of Sion College, Box Hill 1997-2004.

She was previously employed by the Catholic Education Office as an education officer with prime responsibility for Asian Languages and Studies (two years), Deputy Chairperson, Curriculum, and finally Chairperson, Secondary Staff Group (two years).

Prior to that, April was Deputy Principal:Curriculum at Sancta Sophia College, Glenroy, now amalgamated into Penola College, Broadmeadows, April is Vice-President of the Association, and has been on the Executive since 1998.

Vin has been Principal of St. Joseph's College since 1999 after completing five years of leadership of Marian College in Ararat. The College has recently become a partner in the Australian Technical College-Eastern Melbourne with Ringwood Secondary College forming an historic cross-sectorial alliance. It is also a Boys Education Lighthouse School (BELS).

Within the PAVCSS he has previously held the positions of Treasurer, Chair of the LPUC committee and has led the negotiating team at the Salary conditions Board since 1998. Vin is curently Chair of APCSSA.

He is married to Julie and they have 4 children; Alicia, Brighid, Ceridwen and Malachy.

Julie is Principal of Our Lady of Mercy College, Heidelberg since 2005. She was formerly Principal of St Columba's College Essendon, where she was appointed as the first lay Principal in 2000.

Her experience in Catholic Education includes being Deputy Principal positions at St Columba's 1995 - 1999 in Pastoral Care, and at Marcellin College 1984-1992 in Curriculum, after starting her teaching career with the Marist Brothers in Shepparton.

In the 90's, while on Maternity Leave, she did some consulting work in strategic planning and leadership.

Christopher commenced as Principal of Padua College on the Mornington Peninsula in 2001 after serving as Deputy Principal at Service College, Tuart Hill WA (3 years) and St Norbert College, Queens Park WA (7 years).

Prior to spending thirteen years in Catholic Education in three schools in Perth, Christopher taught at St Aloysius College in North Melbourne after completing his degree in mathematics and physics at the University of Melbourne and his teacher training at the Institute of Catholic Education, Mercy Campus, Ascot Vale (now part of Australian Catholic University). He completed his Masters in Education (Religious Education) from the University of Notre Dame in Fremantle in 2004.

He is enjoying the challenge of a large dual-campus school such as Padua College and is supported by tremendous Leadership Team colleagues and staff.

Christopher is married to Anne-Marie and they have a daughter, Tessa.

Frank has just completed 10 years as Principal of St Bernard's and is the second lay principal of that College. Prior to this he was 11 years as Principal of CRC Melton. He has also had periods as Deputy Principal of CBC [now Emmaus] Warrnambool and acting co-principal of Kilbreda College, Mentone. Frank's classroom teaching began in 1972, and has been in Christian Brother's Colleges in Victoria and Sydney where he enjoyed the challenge of working in a large range of KLA's and filling various positions of responsibility. He also recollects his period of time on the executive of the Teachers Association which was the precursor to VIEU.
Along with other principals of Edmund Rice schools, Frank is involved in the process of restructuring that organization so that it can emerge as a group of schools with a National governance structure and perspective. He is currently president of the ACC and member of the PAVCSS executive.
Frank's sense of the realities of life are provided by wife Veronica and children Brigid 18, Tim 16, Joanna 14 and Daniel 12.

Paul joined St. Francis Xavier College - Berwick & Beaconsfield as Principal at the commencement of 2005 and is the 5th Principal to lead the College in its 28 year-history.

Paul came to St. Francis Xavier from Padua College in Mornington and Rosebud where he was Deputy Principal.

Prior to these senior appointments, Paul had extensive leadership and teaching experience at other Catholic Colleges - The Academy of Mary Immaculate - Fitzroy, St. Leo’s CBC - Box Hill and Mt. Lilydale Mercy College - Lilydale.

In 2007, it is expected that St. Francis Xavier College will have a total student enrolment of 1840 students across two campuses.

In total, the College has a combined staff of approximately 200 and has recently undergone a major building program in establishing a second campus.

Paul represents the Diocese of Sale on the PAVCSS Executive.

Born and raised in Queensland, and I have lived in Victoria since 1979. I have been in Catholic Education in Victoria since 1984.

I was appointed to St Joseph's College Echuca in 2000 as a Co-Principal.

Bernard has been Principal at Monivae College, a Catholic co-educational boarding school, since 2000; prior to this appointment he was Deputy Principal at St. Joseph's Regional College, Ferntree Gully. He has taught in a number of Catholic secondary colleges: Mt Lilydale College, Mater Christi College (Belgrave), St Francis Xavier College (Beaconsfield) and St. John's Regional College (Dandenong).
Having lived for twenty years in the Dandenong Ranges, he is now enjoying the grassy plains, wineries, mountains and wineries of the Western District. Bernard is married to Fiona and they have three children: Liam, Clare and Kelvin

John Kennedy has been Founding Principal since September, 1979. Previous appointments: Deputy Principal, Saint Columba's College (Essendon); Curriculum Co-ordinator, St Ignatius College (Riverview); and Assistant Housemaster, Sydney Church of England Grammar School. He has also been Dean of Studies at St Mary's College (Melbourne University) and holds a commission (Flight Lieutenant) in the RAAF Reserve and previously with 21 (City of Melbourne) Squadron.
Mr Kennedy is active in educational circles: four terms as President of the Principals' Association of Victorian Catholic Secondary Schools and committee member of the Catholic Education Commission of Victoria, Grants Allocation Committee (Secondary) and Victorian Catholic Schools Association. In 2000 he accepted an invitation to membership of the Association of Heads of Independent Schools of Australia (AHISA) and in 2003 was made Fellow of the Australian College of Educators. Currently mid-way through M.Ed. Leadership (ACU).

Paul Ryan spent seventeen years in the State system of Education before moving to the Catholic system in 1986. He taught for a year at Catholic Regional College North Keilor (1986). He then moved to Loyola College Watsonia in 1987 as Director of Studies and subsequently Director of Students. Paul was appointed Deputy Principal at Loyola in 1998 and retired from that role at the end of 2004.

Paul enjoys a range of activities in semi-retirement: family life, golf, travel, reading and farm activities.
