Gather with us at the annual PAVCSSSr-Barbara-Reid.jpg conference for a unique opportunity to come together to explore the theme of Prophetic Voices - Leading with Vision and Courage. We are thrilled to welcome esteemed guest speaker Dr. Barbara Reid OP, Professor of New Testament Studies at CTU (Catholic Theological Union) in Chicago, USA.

With a distinguished academic background including a Master’s degree from Aquinas College and a PhD from the Catholic University of America, Dr. Reid brings unparalleled expertise to our conference.

A Dominican Sister of Grand Rapids, Michigan, she has served the Catholic community with passion and dedication for decades.

Dr. Reid’s contributions extend far beyond academia; she has held key leadership rolesat CTU and has been actively involved in shaping theological education through her service on the Board of Directors of the Association of Theological Schools.

The Principals' Association of Victorian Catholic Secondary Schools acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the Traditional Custodians of Country. We pay respect to Elders, past, present, and emerging. We honour our responsibility and opportunities as a Catholic educational institution to respect and understand Australia’s Indigenous peoples, who have walked upon, and cared for this land and its waterways for thousands of years. We acknowledge the continued deep spiritual connection and relationship to Country, committing ourselves to the ongoing journey of reconciliation and truth telling of our shared history. We make this statement believing that we can walk together to a better future.
